Dirty red. Plain jane oni. No culture ties to this one. It was meant to be a transformation assignment. And if you look at it from far it's a solid plain reddish oni but up close its a cracked red stone oni. I also never sketched this idea out. I went straight to the paper. As another type of transformation process.

ReplyDeleteJ- I love watching your onis transform every semester! I really like the natural stone- the cracking texture and the translucent quality of the stone also. The cracks in the teeth are awesome too. Are you finished with it? I was just curious...what size is it?
